About The Arc
The first arc of Demon Slayer is the Unwavering Resolve Arc, which is also broken down into smaller sub-arcs including the Final Selection Arc, Kidnapper's Bog Arc, Asakusa Arc, Tsuzumi Mansion Arc, and Mount Natagumo Arc. It covers Tanjiro Kamado's tragic beginning, his rigorous training, and his first major field missions as a newly minted member of the Demon Slayer Corps
The Tragedy
Tanjiro returns home to find his family slaughtered by a demon, with only his sister Nezuko surviving—though she has been transformed into a demon
The Encounter
He meets the elite slayer Giyu Tomioka, who spares Nezuko after seeing her protect Tanjiro, and sends Tanjiro to train under Sakonji Urokodaki
The Training and Exam
After two years of harsh sword and breathing style training, Tanjiro passes the deadly Final Selection exam to join the corps
Early Missions
Tanjiro investigates missing girls, encounters the main villain Muzan Kibutsuji in Asakusa, teams up with Zenitsu and Inosuke, and battles formidable demons like Rui on Mount Natagumo.
